Our biomedical range includes products for extrusion, moulding and blow moulding of both rigid and flexible materials. The latter are available with all of the main plasticizers traditionally developed for these applications, namely TOTM, DOTP, DINCH, DOA and polymeric plasticizers, in a wide range of hardness values able to satisfy the requirements of every application.

Sustainability is a constant objective that has led us to introduce compounds with a reduced content of carbon originating from mineral sources. We have developed flexible bio-based compounds containing plasticizers obtained through the synthesis of natural, renewable substances with a BCC (bio-based carbon) content even above 40%.

Also available are bio-attributed compounds, in which the PVC resin is obtained using ethylene derived from certified second-generation renewable biomasses. Using bio-based and bio-attributed compounds means reducing CO2 emissions.

All of our compounds are biologically inert, compatible with cyclohexanone or radiofrequency welding, sterilizable and available in compliance with the main international standards:

  • MDR 745/2017
  • USP Class VI
  • ISO 10993
  • European Pharmacopeia
  • REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EU
  • RoHS 3 Directive 2015/863/EU

We have products suited to different types of sterilization:

  • ETO
  • Steam
  • Gamma rays
  • Beta rays
  • E-beam

Innovative PVC Compounds:

  • Radiopaque: flexible PVC compounds specially formulated for X-ray applications
  • Antibacterial: flexible PVC compounds with a bacteriostatic effect
  • Bio-based: PVC plasticized with substances derived from renewable sources
  • Bio-attributed: PVC containing resin produced from biomass-derived ethylene
  • Tin free: rigid PVC free of tin derivatives, sterilized with ETO and gamma/beta rays
  • Colour masterbatches: PVC with high concentrations of pigments
